WHAT A DAY!!!

The Southern Region Team in Czech Republic for the Czech Aerobic Open 2023 have been incredible today.

If anyone has been watching the live stream you will agree it has been action packed!! A whopping 294 routines in one day..

Cloe and Freya have done amazing. Both gymnasts have moved up an age group for 2023, both brand new routines, Freya moved up to FIG this year and this was her first international competition as well.

Suki are very proud of you both, how much you have developed, taken all your training in your stride, taken on new challenges and never moaned. We are excited to see you compete again in the Southern Region competition next weekend with the rest of your teammates!

Cloe finished 53rd and Freya 42nd! Cloe's category had 70 gymnasts in it with one category for the region having 125 routines!!

A massive thank you to the Southern Region coaching team and our coach Enora for supporting our girls, and a HUGE thank you to our regional judges including our fabulous Su! You have judged 294 routines today, your brains must be LEGENDS all round!

Back up tomorrow for our final day!!

We are extremely proud and delighted to confirm that Freya and Cloe will be travelling to the Czech Open 2023 to represent the Southern Region Squad!!

Cloe moved into FIG in 2022 and finished the year with a silver medal at the Welsh Championships. Freya moved into FIG this year! This shows that when you have your eyes on your goal and you have processes in place, anything is possible!

We cannot wait to see how you and the team get on! Go smash it girls & enjoy every moment.
