Club update - moving forward 2021
Just an update to you on what we have been doing as coaches moving forward. We have looked at what training the gymnasts have been getting from us and the location/type of training. Whilst we know that there are constraints as it looks like we will definitely have another term of restrictions we need to do the best for our gymnasts. We have been number crunching, checking availability and also asked for one groups feedback to some proposed changes.
The results (subject to final confirmation) are:
Squad will be in 4 nights a week, 2 of those will be in sports hall to get routines restarted, there will be no ZOOM sessions unless we are locked down again.
RAC will be gaining some new members and will be training as two separate teams 2 times a week, coming together in the sports hall on a further 1 session.
IAC will move to just 1 1/2 hours a week with a maximum team of 14.
An additional General Gymnastics class will be created on a Friday for younger gymnasts.
This is just about financially doable but more importantly will return our FIG, NAC, RAC teams to being able to do routine work and development ready for when competitions do restart. We hope that you support this move forward.
