Southern Region Postponed

Attention All Suki Members
Further to our correspondence last week I have an update for you on the status of the Southern Region Aerobic Gymnastics Championships.
The technical committee have decided to POSTPONE the competition due to the current dynamic environment we experience around Coronavirus in the U.K. The government have dictated all non-essential travel should be avoided, whilst we appreciate there will be many disappointed parents, coaches and gymnasts we have to take the health, safety and well being of our aerobics family into consideration.
The new date for the 2020 Southern Region Aerobic Gymnastics Championships is Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd November. You will see this is now a two day event. We plan to offer the same levels of competition from IAC-FIG but due to venue availability we can only have the weekend itself.
All entry monies will be placed as a credit on your gymnasts accounts unless you email accounts@sukiagc.co.uk to request the money to be refunded back to you.
To give us something to look forward to the South Region Aerobic Gymnastics Technical are looking to host an end of year celebration party for all to attend after the competition. 2020 is showing to be a difficult testing time for us all so this should give us all something to look forward too.
As you can also appreciate the new competition date now clashes with our end of year Gala. With all the competitions now being postponed until the end of the year, we as a club will reassess the Gala situation in the new year of 2021. We have not taken cancelling Gala lightly as we appreciate how much fun this event is, but we must ensure we care for the health and well being of our team members.
