Southern Region Competition was held on 19th March, our number of Routines and gymnasts increase significantly. Well done to all those gymnasts who were competing for the first time. We fielded 32 Routines with 31 Individuals and achieved 10 Medals. Events of this type could not happen without the continued and brilliant support of our many volunteers and helpers, whether it was just providing some sandwiches to sell, helping place out some chairs, clearing up, or the large job of putting our competition floor out or coaching, we salute you all and thank you from the depths of our being. Without you all we are nothing. Aerobic gymnastics competitions are held with different levels of ability and ages and routine types. RAC – Regional Level of difficulty saw Lucie Emmett get Bronze in the Foundation (9yrs old) age category with a score of 13.45 with first timer Kacie Arkley finishing 4th with a score of 13.15. Some who competed for the first time although nerves were a factor all seemed to decide that they wanted to do it again. Onwards and upwards gymnasts!
